STA Water Treatment Qualifications

The STA provide course in managing swimming pool and spa water, please see below for details:

Level 1 Foundation Certificate in Swimming Pool & Spa Water Treatment

Candidates must be 16 years of age or over for this 6 hour course which covers topics such as maintaining water conditions, importance of hygiene and cleanliness and operating parameters. The course contains both theory & practical work.

Level 2 Foundation Certificate in Swimming Pool & Spa Water Treatment

Successful candidates of the level 1 course who are aged 18 years or over can complete the Level 2 course which includes circulation, filtration & backwashing, pH and balanced water, chemical addition and control, disinfection methods, forms of pollution etc The course last for 20 hours.
